it's party time!!!!

this weekend we had the kids birthday party.  being that their birthdays are only 3 weeks apart we decided to combine the 2 and just have one giant blowout....pirate flags and island girls! we had so much fun and the kids had a blast with their friends and cousins. great grandma barbara and grandma debbie (toms grandma and mom) came up for the party as well as great grandpa harpo (my grandpa clarence) all from california. we are so blessed that we have so many special people in our lives that love us more than we deserve!

wow....its been awhile!

well, i guess i am going to attempt this blogging thing again!

a lot has happened in the last 3 1/2 years (the last time i blogged) but i figured maybe this would be a good way to keep people updated on our little family life. for the first year of both bolton and macey's lives i wrote a monthly email to kinda give updates on the kids and what we were doing. living so far away from many family and friends, we often get requests for updates so i thought i would give this a try again since i am done with macey's monthly emails.

as many of you know may 23, 2012 we welcomed our precious little princess into the world and life hasnt been the same since. macey jean is ornery and precious, stubborn and beautiful.....and everything in between. she loves to antagonize her big brother and she already knows just how to look "oh so sweet" when she does something wrong and wants to get out of it! bolton is still his mamas boy and i cant get enough of his sweetness. he also has that really good trait of getting himself into trouble and then when you get upset with him he busts out the sweetest most precious look and says something like "but i just want to snuggle you mama." how can you say no to that?!?!?

tom is back/still at six states distributors in boise. i wouldnt say he loves it but i can say that bolton loves that his daddy get to "play" with big trucks all day everyday....and he cant wait to get home at night and find out all the details of daddys day (size of the trucks, color, kind.....)!

after 8 1/2 years with us bank i quite my job in march and have started working at the daycare that the kids having been going to since b was 1 1/2.  i love it here!!!! everyday i get to work/see one of my very best friends and i get to spend every single day with my babies (something i have always dreamed about)! i only work three days a week now which is amazing and i get to have fun everyday!!! all i can say is i never dread going to work anymore!

well thats just an update over the last year or so. hope every one is doing well....until next time :)

bolton loved the pigs. one that was out of his pen walked right up to bolton and started kissing his toes. oh to be walking along and see a pigs head in your babies stroller!

papa thinks bolton will be a goat farmer. they were reaching out and trying to kiss his toes too.

bolton decided to sleep for a bit while we were walking

bolton went to the pursuit outreach at julia davis park with nonnie and papa. it was so hot and he didnt feel very good but he still had lots of fun with his big cousins!
